About Letybo
Letybo is an injectable treatment designed to help reduce the visibility of glabellar lines, or the frown lines in between the eyebrows. Letybo is derived from botulinum toxin type A, the same protein that Botox is derived from. (1) When the formula is administered, it works by attaching itself to the nerve ending responsible for dynamic muscle movement. It then relaxes the muscles, preventing them from contracting. This allows the skin to relax and smooth itself out, leaving patients with a more youthful appearance and rejuvenated expression.

Ideal Candidates
Ideal candidates include patients who are interested in addressing the frown lines between their eyebrows. This injectable is best suited for moderate to more severe lines in this area, but can also be used to prevent new lines from forming. Patients who are seeking non-surgical treatments with shorter downtime are recommended for this treatment, as well as those interested in restoring a more youthful appearance to their upper face.
All candidates interested in this procedure should be in good overall health, with realistic expectations regarding the outcome of their procedure. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding are not recommended for this treatment. Candidacy will be determined by an injection specialist at each consultation.

Personal Consultation
Each patient will be asked to attend a personal consultation before scheduling their Letybo appointment. This meeting is a chance for our team to get to know each patient more personally and learn more about how we can best help. The expert injector will meet with each patient before reviewing each detail of their injections. Information regarding the patient’s medical history, treatment goals, and concerns will then be collected.
The expert injector will then establish each patient’s treatment plan, personalizing certain aspects to help each patient address their concerns. Preparation and recovery instructions will be provided, alongside an all-inclusive quote.

Preparation
Each patient will receive a set of preparation guidelines at their consultation, instructing them on how to best prepare for their treatment. Patients should ensure they follow each instruction given by a member of our team to ensure the most optimal results. The expert injector may ask patients to temporarily refrain from taking certain medications or supplements, specifically those containing blood-thinning properties. Additionally, patients should refrain from consuming nicotine and alcohol for several days before their injections. On the day of the treatment, patients should ensure they arrive at their procedures with a clean face, free from any makeup or skincare products.
Procedure
The procedure will begin with the cleansing and sanitization of the skin. Topical anesthesia or a local anesthetic can be administered to ensure the patient’s comfort. (1) The expert injector will then use a fine needle to measure out the dosage of Letybo before delivering it beneath the skin. If necessary, they will massage the treated area to distribute the formula more evenly.
Recovery
Patients will be able to return to their daily schedules immediately after their appointment, but should avoid touching or massaging the injected area(s). It is also recommended to avoid lying down for several hours after being treated. Alcohol and physical exercise should also be avoided for 24 hours following the treatment.
Results
Patient results will vary, but each individual will be able to notice an improvement in their brow region approximately 2-3 days after being treated, with the full results manifesting after around 1-2 weeks. (2) Patients will be able to notice s reduction in the “eleven lines” or glabellar lines between the eyebrows. The results of each patient’s treatment can last for several months, with most patients being eligible for reinjection after 3-5 months. (3)

Many procedures can be performed alongside Letybo injections for more comprehensive revitalization, one of the most popular being our Restylane injections.
Restylane is a type of injectable dermal filler composed of hyaluronic acid. It is designed to help reduce visible signs of aging, as well as restore lost facial volume.
